Most of us compartmentalize our lives – separating our professional life from our personal life from our spiritual life. However, once we learn to live holistically, life will be fuller and more satisfying.
We have relegated God to being concerned only with the spiritual component of our life. Nothing could be further from the truth. The scriptures tell us that it is the will of God that we “Prosper in all things and be in good health, even as our soul prospers” (3 John 2). In other words, God wants us to take a balanced approach to life and to experience prosperity in all areas.
As an example, when God chose Jacob of the Old Testament to give him a spiritual posterity, He also gave him natural prosperity. Actually, God gave Him a business plan that caused his finances to multiply many times over. But remember, Jacob had to work the plan to experience the success.
God has a plan for the whole of your life – your family, your career, your health, your soul and your spirit. The end result of His plan is success. Just work His plan and you will join me in saying, “Success is Spiritual.” – Dwayne N. Hunt
